YOGA

Yoga is the heart and soul of Go Natural, Yoga has the power to completely transform your life and improve all aspects of your life, health & the entire life experience.

We handpick the most amazing, inspiring and well-experienced yoga teachers from all around the world so that your yoga experience is profound and inspiring. Often life-changing!

 

All our instructors are experienced yoga teachers with passion and 10+ years of teaching yoga, certified, English speaking, creating a unique experience for each guest. Sessions are tailored to guests’ needs, from beginners to advanced, we can work on your issues (back pain, weight loss, hips openers, insomnia), so you will get most of it. Our aim is to not only teach you yoga but also show you how to bring more yoga and healthy living practices into your everyday life. We will make a special custom-made plan for you to continue it afterward so that your time here becomes a true-life improving this experience. While at Go Natural, you will be provided with yoga e-books, yoga music, and health tips for your daily routines.

Different yoga techniques will be introduced and different meditation techniques as well, so that you can find the one that fits you most. Yoga sessions are based on Hatha & Kundalini & Yin yoga.

The classes usually take place on the yoga platform facing the ocean, roofed yoga ashram or on the beach.

There are two classes a day (morning sunrise and evening sunset) and one meditation technique daily.

Kranti Londhe

Kranti has  practiced and consulted for over 17 years. Trained from various reputed yoga institutes in India. She teaches different yoga styles like Hatha, vinyasa, etc. and is also well versed with various yoga therapies (belt & rope). Through her deep knowledge of various types of yoga, she has the ability to put a lot of creativity in her classes and design customized. She is also known to make her classes inspiring through her particular philosophy about life and happiness.

Anjali Talcherkar Ph.D

Anjali Talcherkar, Ph.D., holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Addiction

 Antioch University L.A. and a Ph.D.in Integrative Medicine from Saybrook University. She uses a holistic approach to addiction recovery which fuses clinical skills with Eastern mindfulness techniques. Trained yoga and meditation teacher with expertise in Ayurveda, cultivates insight and awareness to facilitate multi-dimensional healing; her aim is to effect spiritual, emotional, physical & mental transformation in those she helps.

Clo Sterling

Motivated, intuitive and caring yoga instructor with a background in gymnastics and dance, who after years in a demanding desk-bound job and suffering from back pain and stress-related conditions, was inspired to take advanced training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin yoga, Acupressure and Reiki. Clo's teaching style is about breath, movement, balance and meditation. She loves to inspire people from all backgrounds to live their best life, to improve wellness and to commit to long-term health.

Alexandra Stein

Alexandra is from South Africa. She is a qualified personal trainer, lifestyle coach, and provides nutritional guides. Her yoga journey started about 5 years ago when she completed her Hatha YTT in South Africa and then followed to complete her Vinyasa & Ashtanga YTT in Goa, India. Her passion is people, and helping and guiding students to a healthier body, mind & spirit. Her greatest passion is using yoga, excercise, healthy food, meditation, nature and breath to heal from the inside out.

Omkari & Vasu

Omkari and Vasu are traveling yoga teachers. They spent years exploring ancient knowledge of body and mind, learning from the yoga ashrams and gurus of  India, Buddhist monks of Nepal, vipassana teachers of Myanmar and healers of  Bali, Indonesia. Their yoga teachings base on traditional hatha yoga style that allow everyone to get body, mind and spiritual benefits.  They love art and use it in their spiritual practice as the wheel to turn emotions into devotion,  open the heart to the new beginning and universal love!

Kim Montgomery

Kim is a passionate traveler who studied Yoga and Yoga Sciences in India and Tibet.

She attained her first Certification at Sivananda School of Yoga, Neyyar Dam, India.  She then studied Astanga Yoga under Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, attained certification in Yoga Therapy at Vivekananda Kendra, in Bangalore, took courses in Yoga Nidra, Vipassana Meditation and Pranic Healing. In addition, Kim is a certified Hypnotist and practicing Medicine Woman. Kim has a few decades of teaching experience & can teach most Yoga styles you can name. Kim diligently continues to do ‘The Great Work’, and is committed not only to continuing her own expansion but also in assisting others to find the motivation to grow through action. Kim believes ‘when we remember what we know, we understand deeply that we are Supreme Beings and that our capacity is limitless’.

Sinduja

Sinduja has been trained in the Bihar School of Yoga. As a teacher, she is patient, caring and sensitive to the needs of the students.

She likes working with co-travelers, rather than students and loves to help them feel better in their own space. Challenging them at a time, she helps work through physical, mental, emotional issues with ease.

Jolien Dieleman

Jolien started practicing yoga over a decade ago, looking for a way to relieve back and shoulder pain. She quickly noticed the tremendous benefits yoga has to offer; a lot less pain, improved posture, a wider range of motion and a more peaceful sense of self. Intrigued by the philosophy behind yoga she went to India in 2011 to deepen her practice. She feels yoga has enriched her life in so many ways, that she is committed to sharing it with as many people as possible.

Sonya Trejo

Sonya has been practicing, studying and sharing yoga, spirituality and various modalities of the energy work for over 20 years. She is deeply dedicated to healing.  Her classes have been described as "exuberant". Her focus on the power of breath to movement encourages others to cultivate conversations with their own bodies. She believes in a yoga practice that invites a "come as you are - come together" energy. Her love of yoga shines through her sequences designed with the intention of shifting energy into alignment. Her studies include reiki, quantum healing, Vedic  numerology and western astrology. Victoria Bourke

Victoria has been practicing yoga since 2008 in India, where She resides, teaches . She completed her yoga teacher training with Bharath Shetty at the Ananda Yoga India Institute in Mysore and has been teaching traditional Hatha Yoga since. She is also an ashtanga practitioner, under G. Pescoli, which brings in a strong element of alignment and awareness of breath into her classes.'In my experience the body is a temple and the mind a tool. If the temple is passive and peaceful, inviting and strong, then the mind is quiet and obedient'.

For the last 10 years she has been sharing a wonderful combination of Yin & Yang Yoga, Breathwork,  Individual and Partner Meditations, Dance Therapy and Massage Techniques in Classes, Workshops, Retreats and Teacher trainings (E-RYT 500) all over the world; with everybody: children, teenagers, adults, elderly people. She loves community yoga, taught in a prison in Peru, a shelter for the woman in Nepal and an ecological building project in Bali.

Kassandra is a certified Naturopath, Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Instructor (CYT-RYT 200) and Entrepreneur who has had a strong love, passion, and respect for Holistic Wellness for over a decade and has over 7 years of personal research and professional experience in the Natural Health field. Her ultimate mission is to promote health empowerment. She holds a Naturopath Certification from the Alternative Medicine College of Canada and an RYT200 certification from the Yoga Skills School of Kemetic Yoga. She is the founder of Studio Alkemy Yoga & Wellness, Canada’s 1 st Kemetic Yoga studio and Pure Violet Natural Cosmetics, a line of 100% natural, herb-infused skin and hair-care, aromatherapy products and healing herb teas.

Nairobi style is a fusion of vinyasa, meditation, and restorative with focus on detoxification. influenced by her own practice, her teaching is dynamic, energetic and steady. The base of classes is a focus on breath while leading students through a series of poses. The sequence and intensity of the class vary in accordance with students’ experience, energy and prowess.

With a 200-hour RYT certification in Forrest-Inspired Vinyasa, she teaches from her experience & focusing on the needs of the student. Her style of teaching reflects personal practice --with compassion, honesty, playfulness, and a deep sense of calm. From practicing Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, Hatha, Forrest, and Dharma yoga, classes integrate principles from each of these with a core focus of getting students to connect to their breath, become more intelligent in their bodies & to work in healing yet strengthening way

Anita is our Latvian-Canadian RYT200 yoga instructor specializing in the rejuvenation of the mind, body, and spirit.

She has certifications in yin yoga, yoga for runners, and PNF stretching to increase flexibility. “My Life is Art” meditation/life coaching studies have helped her bring her students to new levels of health and happiness. Her motto is “Be Golden”

Yogi Mokshanand

Yogi Mokshanand who is real Guru and Yoga Avatar, is the only person on the planet today knowing the sacred 9000 years old yoga. He cures himself cancer with yoga and while living in India for 22 years he had his own ashram and heal persons from various illnesses. It is believed that when he blesses a person, his blessing has great power and bring a  lot of goodness into one's life. We are honored to have Yogi Mokshanand visiting Go Natural Jamaica for a limited time and for this special occasion he teach 1 person per day (he rarely take students)

Mandisa Reid

Mandisa is an experienced Yoga teacher & Master Massage therapist. In India studied Ayurveda and Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. She recognized that the answers to living the life we were all meant to live were hidden in ancient medicinal systems. She traveled to the Amazon of Peru to learn about the traditional medicines used in most pharmaceutical medicines. Mandisa now seeks to combine hidden ancient wisdom with modern scientific approaches to achieve holistic health for herself and others. She believes that if people are in balance the world will be in balance too.

Lisa Tai

Lisa is a practitioner of yoga since 2001. She is passionate about helping others, especially with relaxation and self-care. Guided by the Buddhist principle of Metta (loving-kindness), she creates a supportive and safe environment in which to explore and grow. She sees yoga asana as a vehicle for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual transformation. Lisa teaches various Yoga styles (Hatha, Flow, Yin, Restorative) & is a Thai Massage Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist, Holistic Esthetician, and Reiki Practitioner. A hands-on teacher who believes in the healing power of therapeutic touch & brings elements of Thai massage into her classes.

Desiree Crosmann

Desiree is a certified teacher under Yoga Alliance, a Joga instructor, ITM Thai massage teacher. She obtained her yoga certifications in the US and in India, has taught Hatha from beginners, intermediate to dynamic, as well as Vinyasa, Yin, JOGA, conditioning skills and drills, and pranayama. Desiree enjoys teaching fundamentals as she feels it is important for people to learn the foundation first in order to progress further in their practice.
